Object Details

Summary

This is the stoage bag for Nina Kiroda's Salyut-era flight suit. The suit, which she used for training, can also be worn on board the space station. During that time, it must be properly stored and ready for use during a cosmoanut's stay on board a space station. This stowage bag keeps the suit in working order and in a confined space when the cosmonauts do not need it.
Ms. Kiroda donated the suit and bag to the museum.
