Summary

This storage bag from Apollo 11 contained film magazines used on the Moon until they were processed at the Johnson Space Center after the mission. Fine lunar dust often coated equipment used on the Moon. After the first lunar landing missions, astronauts and the objects they brought back from the lunar surface were quarantined for weeks after landing on Earth to prevent the spread of possible "Moon germs."
This bag was transferred from NASA to the Museum in 1970.
