Object Details

Description

This is a twentieth century replica of a stone Aztec calendar found in Mexico City in 1760. It is made from a composite material and has a backing of red velvet with a paper label and a metal ring by which it could be hung. For a related explanation, distributed with the object, see MA.302251.02.
