This accession consists of audiovisual materials created during the production of exhibition films. "Rube Goldberg: Or Doing It the Hard Way" accompanied a 1970 retrospective
of Rube Goldberg's work at the National Museum of History and Technology, titled "Do It the Hard Way: Rube Goldberg and Modern Times." Goldberg was an engineer, inventor,
cartoonist, and sculptor. The second film accompanied an exhibition of the photography of Charles and Ray Eames. Also included are three additional films by Charles and Ray
Eames, "Aquarium" and "Black Ships," and elements for a film, c. 1996, produced by Karen Loveland that was related to Charles and Ray Eames, titled "Toccata for Coy Contracts."
Materials include original footage, negatives, stills, release prints, newsreels, interviews, sound mixes, sound effects, and video and audio transfers.
