Monochrome lithograph of The Niagara Falls Suspension Bridge, August 1, 1848. Opened 1848. Designed/built Charles Ellet, Jr. (1810-1862). Foot bridge only - first bridge over Niagara Goreg. Removed 1854 when Roebling's RR bridge completed. Span 759 feet.. Lithograph 1849. Endicott lithograph.
