Colored aquatint of The Southwark Cast Iron Bridge Erecting Over The River Thames at London, 1818. John Rennie, Esq., Engineer. Elevatin and plan - mechanical drawing. Built 1891, replaced 1921. Central span 240 feet. Most notable of early c.i. arches; far more massive than Coalbrookdaale or Sunderland. Arch rings of solid c.i. plates.
