Scope and Contents
This subseries includes communications from family and friends. It consists primarily of incoming and outgoing correspondence. Letters written by a young McCormick to his mother and grandmother provide a window into his early thoughts about life and how a location can shape one's point of view. There is a significant number of greeting cards from family and friends in celebration of McCormick's 70th and 80th birthdays. In addition, a small number of postcards can be found among these materials. Materials are arranged in chronological order.
