American History Museum

Object Details

Collection Collector

McCormick, Mack

Collection Citation

Robert "Mack" McCormick Collection, Archives Center, National Museum of American History, Smithsonian Institution

Scope and Contents

Side A: Dictation notes, Side B: Blank. Side A: Dictation notes, Continuation of McCormick's effort to dictate notes for chapters or scenes of the manuscript relating to Robert Johnson known as memoir or Who Killed Robert Johnson (WKRJ). Much of the discussion relates to the identification of 1115 Larkin and Adams which he refers to as one more uncertainty to put into the pile. McCormick identifies the tape as number two? and the ending sequence of WKRJ. He primarily talks about solving uncertainties, setting up situations so that one cannot be found, and the desire for someone to finish what he could not. The dialogue is similar to OTC1485.12. Side B: Blank.
