Scope and Contents
Contains photographic materials documenting Indianopolis's rich theater tradition including images of the various historic structures and musical performances. The images of Indianapolis's most famous theaters include the Murat, the Circle, the Indiana, the English, the Fox, the Keith and the Lyric, to name a few. Images of some of jazz's greatest performanersces such as Fats Waller and the Claude Thornhill Orchestra can also be found among these materials. The materials are arranged in chronological order by the date of the performance. Within the dates the photographs and negatives were left in the order that Schiedt maintained.
