Subject is playing the saxophone with the band. "This was taken in Seattle in the Black and Tan Club on Sept. 24, 1944. I was playing one of my solos, "Misery" at the time. The next day I had my hair cut. I hope you like it -- Roz". Photgraphed by Al Smith, Seattle, Wash.
