Scope and Contents

Notes from original housing: Inesse Art Show, 1989, was the first art gallery show at 213 State Street. After Herizon closed, the space became an art exhibition space, through the energies of a few key Herizon women (Judy, MR, Peg), which grew out of this early exhibit. The Cooperative Gallery 214 remained open, and many old Herizon members still gathered at 213 State St., but in events now open to the public.
