Scope and Contents
Glass plate negatives documenting civil and mechanical engineering activities related to lighthouses, their construction, and their parts. Few of the images are identified, but named lighthouses are the Minot's Ledge lighthouse, Liston's Rear Delaware, and Spectacle Reef Lake Huron Lighthouse. Also featured is the 1893 Columbian Exposition. The glass plates are 8 in x 10 in, 4 in x 5 in, and 6.5 in x 8.5 in.
