Scope and Contents
Glass plate negatives documenting civil and mechanical engineering activities related to bridges. Few of the images are identified, but named bridges are the Boulder Park Bridge, Middletown Draw bridge, and the Easton Suspension Bridge. Bridge types include burr truss, bowstring truss, skew truss, steel truss, chain, swing draw, swiss draw, bascule, and suspension. The glass plates are 8 in x 10 in, 4 in x 5 in, and 6.5 in x 8.5 in.
