Scope and Contents
Documents the construction and completion of the Pecos High Bridge known as the Pecos Viaduct located in Texas. The bridge was intended to solve problems affecting the Galveston, Harrisburg, and San Antonio Railway since its opening in 1883. Construction began in 1891 with images documenting the progress, workers, and completion of the bridge.
