Scope and Contents
Consists of a set of three tunnels under the Hudson River. Connects Weehawken, New Jersey and Midtown Manhattan in New York City. Includes correspondence with Chief Engineer, O.H. Ammann (1879-1965), a Swiss structural engineer also responsbile for the bridge designs for the George Washington Bridge, Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, and Bayonne Bridge.
