Scope and Contents
Series 3 is divided into eight subseries. Subseries 3.1 contains annuals, memory albums, pictorial reviews, and editions of Hysterical History, the generic title for company newsletters. Subseries 3.2 contains books. Subseries 3.3 contains cartoons. Subseries 3.4 contains camp newspapers; this subseries is arranged alphabetically by state or territory. This subseries also contains copies of the NACCCA Journal, assorted newspapers, copies of Happy Days, and copies of the CCC Legacy Journal. Subseries 3.5 contains transcripts of oral histories, arranged chronologically. Subseries 3.6 contains periodicals. Subseries 3.7 contains poems submitted for publication in the NACCCA Journal as well as poetry from other sources. Subseries 3.8 contains stationery, music, and maps.

This collection is open for research use.
Researchers must handle unprotected photographs with cotton gloves. Researchers may use reference copies of audio-visual materials. When no reference copy exists, the Archives Center staff will produce reference copies on an "as needed" basis and as resources allow.
Viewing film portions of the collection requires special appointment, please inquire; listening to LP recordings is only possible by special arrangement.
Gloves must be worn when handling unprotected photographs and negatives. Special arrangements required to view materials in cold storage. Using cold room materials requires a three hour waiting period. Contact the Archives Center at 202-633-3270.
