Guest: Maryland State Senator Edward T. Hall, Legislative District 30 (Anne Arundel and Calvert Counties). Senator Hall discusses: -campaign style aims to remain "down home" with the people. -changes around the Maryland State House. -State Issues: taxes and economy, education. -District Issues: industrial development, transportation in Annapolis, South River Bridge construction. -Redistricting. -Annapolis Hospital's future. -State House should not look at every bill, some should be taken care of by local councils. -Choosing the President of the Maryland State Senate. -Comparing Calvert County and Anne Arundel County issues. -Republicans have joined with disenchanted Democrats on certain issues including subway construction, land use, sales tax.
