Scope and Contents

Line illustration of children washing dishes. Partial text: "Are you certain that the plate you eat off of, and the cup you drink from, have not been washed with soap made of the fat of diseased cattle?" Citing tests made by Dr. Doremus of Bellevue Hospital, the purity of Ivory is emphasized. Illustration signed by Rose Mueller.
