Scope and Contents

Comprises of materials created from literary characters primarily from books and include Ramona, Little Women, Robinson Crusoe, Wizard of Oz, Peter Rabbit, Curious George, Wind in the Willows, Pippi Longstocking, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Mother Goose, A Tale of Two Cities, Robinson Crusoe, Little Jermima Puddle Duck, Two Bad Mice, Pinocchio, and Trixie Belden. Paper dolls of characters from the book illustrations of the English Victorian artist and writer Catherine (Kate) Greenaway are also included. There are fairy tale characters from Cinderella, Snow White, Hansel and Gretel, Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty, and Goldilocks and the Three Bears. In addition, paper dolls from the nursey rhymes Simple Simon, Old Woman Who Lived in the Shoe, and Little Miss Muffet are also found among the materials. Materials are arranged in alphabetical order by title followed by collections of dolls from multiple literary works.
