Scope and Contents

This poster celebrating the nuclear, rather than the traditional extended family, depicts a promethean father whose massive body anchors the composition with trunk-like legs firmly planted onto the ground. This poster recalls Christian religious imagery of the Holy Family and illustrates an ongoing preoccupation with the well-being of the Puerto Rican family. (From exhibition text by Marvette Perez.)
