Scope and Contents
Waste Not, Want Not American industry saves natural resources by recycling. Timber company salvages charred logs after a forest fire in Tillamook, OR for cardboard and sawdust. Recycling paper and making boxboard. Making raw steel from scrap metal; slag treated to make rock-wool insulation. Using broken glass in air filters.
