Scope and Contents
Looking at Glass Modern technology allows for a new range of glass items that can be used in industry. Plate glass used in new construction, hand shaped glass used to make laboratory implements for chemical industry, and Pyrex and fiberglass used increasingly in factories and homes. Mass production allows millions of incandescent light bulbs to be made in a day. Radiant glass panels may heat the home of tomorrow.
