Scope and Contents note
The folios are collections of early jazz blues and "bluesy" Tin Pan Alley songs. Also included are 1944 folios of Louis Jordan songs, Jimmy Rushing Sings the Blues (circa 1945), and The Paramount Book of Blues (circa 1927) which features Paramount recording artists such as Blind Lemon Jefferson, "Ma" Rainey, Blind Blake, Charlie Jackson, etc. See also folder 3.7 P.
