Financial Forecasts

This series consists of financial forecasts of LCNC and its subsidiaries, 1949-1953. Table of contents or "indexes" in the front of each report list as general headings the name of each company — LCNC, LNCC Inc., Lehigh and New England Railroad company, Greenwood Corporation & Subsidiaries, Split Rock Lodge, Inc., Lehigh Materials Company, Panther Valley water Company, and Summit Hill Water Company. The reports contain forecasts of cash, income, profits, profits and loss, and expenditures for capital improvements. Also included is forecast information on costs of mining and sales programs, and analyses of sales and production. There are itemized and total monthly and yearly balances for most forecasts. Some reports list actual income and expenses from previous years along with the forecasts. The financial forecast for 1953 includes only the first six months of that year. These financial reports are arranged chronological.
