Consists of scattered business correspondence, bills, receipts, advertising cards and blotters, and
specifications for construction and/or use of materials. A few catalogues, price lists and other
publications are also present. A number of these businesses manufactured wire and cable for bridge construction; notable among these is the John A. Roebling Sons Company, builders of the Brooklyn Bridge.
