Scope and Contents
The term "Everyday" or non occasion, refers to topics that potentially could fall on "everyday" of the year; they are not specific, nationally recognized holidays. These card types include birthday, anniversary, invitation, condolence, etc. Volumes filled during a year generally follow the same order, an order tied to the company's production schedule. This order varied somewhat during the company's history, but for the most part remained consistent. Generally speaking, one can use the year 1960 (which contains five volumes) as a guide to this order: Birthday (general, humorous, juvenile, family, and sweetheart), Birth Announcement, Baby Congratulation, Invitation, Anniversary, Wedding/Engagement, Gift, Thank You, Friendship, Illness/ Convalescent/Shut in/Get Well, Sympathy.
