Arrangement

Davies maintained eight filing cabinets in his office, holding his timetables collection. Most of the timetables remain in their original arrangement. Drawers are organized geographically by continent and region. Airlines of the United States are further subdivided by type (trunk, local/regional, cargo, etc.). There is also a sub-series of loose timetables that had not yet been integrated (and probably would not fit) into the cabinets at the time of Davies' retirement. Volunteers had already divided them into commuter airlines and non-commuter airlines (though there is some overlap). Loose timetables are boxed in alphabetical order.
