Imaginary Lines/Sally Ride Science

Air and Space Museum

Object Details

Collection Creator

Ride, Sally, 1951-2012

Collection Citation

Sally K. Ride Papers, Acc. 2014-0025, National Air and Space Museum, Smithsonian Institution.

Scope and Contents

Imaginary Lines/Sally Ride Science, relates to Ride's company which was founded in 2001 along with Dr. Tam O'Shaughnessy and Dr. Karen Flammer to promote STEM literacy. Imaginary Lines was the company name first, before it was changed to Sally Ride Science. Two folders relating to Women in Science (WinS) meetings held by Ride and colleagues in the mid-1990s are included here as they appear to have laid the ground work for later STEM concerns.
