Existence and Location of Originals

According to the Registrar's office, G. S. Rimington, Oakville, Canada sent to the S. I. 5 replicas of paintings by C. B. King. These replicas were returned to Rimington, April 24, 1961. Then the replicas were sold by Mr Rimington, ca 1961 to Sears & Roebuck, who gave the paintings to President Kennedy. They are now a part of the White House Collection, Washington, D. C. Information from J. C. Ewers and Registrar, 3/1970.
