According to Robert Anderson (1968) the photographer lived in Washington, D.C. and then moved to Ohio. The photographer's daughter is Mr Anderson's niece.
Cf. with B.A.E. Negative 3163-b of Hollow Horn Bear by Gill, 1913. Hollow Horn Bear is wearing same clothes and looks of comparable age, therefore this photo probably taken about same time. Hollow Horn Bear died March, 1913.
