Local Note

In 1968, the Crane Collection was given to the Denver Museum of Natural History.
According to Father Peter J. Powell (here 10/1971) Old Harney is a Brule Dakota cf. photos of Old Harney in Paul Dzck, Brule (Flagstaff, Arizona, Northland Press, 1970 or 1971).
