"Buried on the Miami Indian Reservation (upper reserve) of Grant County, Wabash, Indiana. Died Dec. 16, 1879, about 98 years. United with the Baptist church the second Sunday in June, 1861. Ta-ke-e-quah, wife of Me-shing-o-me-sia, died Sept. 15, 1879 about 94 years. Information supplied by Great nephew of Me-shing-o-me-sia, Chapendeceah (Milton Shopp) 61 Melwood Avenue, Cherrydale, Va., Nov. 29, 1929."
