Folio 7 recto, 3rd photograph; A photograph of dignitaries climbing the boarding ramp of the SS Manchuria to welcome their American guests. Earlier in 1905, Japan had defeated Russia and were intent on forming a strong alliance with the US. This photo was taken on the 25th of July, 1905.
