Scope and Contents
Ndebele Mother and Child Painting, 1936-1949. A mother is standing next to her child painting some rectangles on a hard surface with a paintbrush. The child is pointing at the paintbrush. The mother's face cannot be seen. Both are wearing jewelry; the mother is wearing a blanket that is wrapped around her shoulders and fastened with a large safety pin with a ring of keys hanging from it. There are no prints of this negative in the Constance Stuart Larrabee Collection. EEPA produced an 8x10 study print for reference purposes.
