Men With Crates, 1947. A man of European decent is squatting on the ground and writing on a piece of paper on one of the crates. A Transkei man is standing over him and leaning on the crate, watching the man write. There are several crates around them. Photograph by Constance Stuart Larrabee, 1947.
In 1947, Constance Staurt Larrabee visited the Transkei. She was there researching the housing problems in Southern Africa.
There are no prints of this negative in the Constance Stuart Larrabee Collection. EEPA produced an 8x10 study print for reference purposes.
