Men Hauling Crates Into Trucks, 1947. Several Transkei men are hauling crates made of wood. Two pairs of men, one on either side of the crate, haul it into the back of a truck. A man of European decent is on the truck stacking the crates. The face of a dog can be seen in the lower bottom right corner. Photograph by Constance Stuart Larrabee, 1947.
In 1947, Constance Staurt Larrabee visited the Transkei. She was there researching the housing problems in Southern Africa.
There are no prints of this negative in the Constance Stuart Larrabee Collection. EEPA produced an 8x10 study print for reference purposes.
