Scope and Contents
Two Men With Map, 1947. Photographic image of a two men of European decent are sitting on a ledge and holding a map of South Africa between them. The man on the right is pointing at a spot on the map, quite possibly the Transkei region. On the reverse of the contact sheet for this image, Constance Stuart has written the following: "Mr. Fuel; Mr. Bagge; Mr. Banning; Mr. Mackay." At this time the identity of these men cannot be determined. Photograph by Constance Stuart Larrabee, 1947.
In 1947, Constance Staurt Larrabee visited the Transkei. She was there researching the housing problems in Southern Africa.
There are no prints of this negative in the Constance Stuart Larrabee Collection. EEPA produced an 8x10 study print for reference purposes.
