Scope and Contents
Ndebele Women and Child, 1936-1949. One woman is holding a bowl on her head while the child in front of her carries long tufts of grass that will be sewn together to make a broom. The broom is obstructing the view of the woman's face behind the child. Both are walking through the entrance way to a homestead area. Another woman is seated watching them come in. She has two containers in front of her and a pile of mud. Photograph by Constance Stuart Larrabee, 1936-1949.
There are no prints of this negative in the Constance Stuart Larrabee Collection. EEPA produced an 8x10 study print for reference purposes.
