Lucette. Dakar, Sénégal."
Translated handwritten text on verso reads, "Dakar November 29, 1914. What do you think, my dear Emilie, of the feminine element of Dakar? Next time, I'll send you their husbands, you'll see that they don't let their better halves win out in looking fine!... Yesterday we received good news of your dear Pierrot in a letter from our uncle. We strongly wish that he will always be as well and we always receive his news with pleasure. I wrote you on board my dear cousin and also on our arrival here. Did you get them? Give all our love to the whole family and keep for yourself our most affectionate hugs. Your little cousin. Lucette. Dakar, Senegal."
