Scope and Contents

Text on front reads: "Sénégal - 155. DAKAR. - Entrée Hôpital Colonial. M. D., photo, Dakar."
Translated postcard caption reads, "Senegal - 155. DAKAR. - Colonial Hospital Entrance."
Additional handwritten text on front reads, "Dakar, le 19/7/06. Une grosse caresse. Louis."
Translated handwritten text on front reads, "Dakar, July 19, 1906. Deep cuddle. Louis."
Translated handwritten text on verso reads, "Dear Henriette, thank you for these two pretty and kind postcards which I received with a leeter of uncle Louis. I feel sorry for Edourd's actions. I have no idea when he will show more maturity. I wish I could be in France to having him become more positive. Christmas was sad due to an excess of heat. You believe, dear sister, that I looked more serious wearing a beard. You are right, I have grown up but you should know that I am almost 22 year-old. You must have received a panorama of Dakar as well as another fantasy card."
