Printed caption on verso reads: "A street in Mogador. There are three quarters in Mogador, where the Jewish, the Moorish, and Eureopean residents of the seaport have their respective dwelling places. The narrow street and minaret beyond it shown here belong to the Moorish residential quarter, and the donkey-rider and camel-leader are quite typically Moorish."
