Original hand-written text on recto, "I have just writting a postcard to Julia in order to reply to her letter of 3 December. Very dear all five and little Jeannot. You will find the chapter a little thin but what can I say, the wealth of material is lacking and it is rather the opportunity of a meuling which entices me to draw a few lines and chatter a little bit with you all. Health remains excellent but what ... many sick, we however, always staying firmly at our past; there are frankly the only details that I can give you. The "Chilli" leaves tomorrow for France and she won't dawdle on the way since she carries the governor general and all his hike. The day before yesterday we thought - we would get mail from you and the "Galliéni" but nothing from our dear Neuilly, however St. Alphionse favoured us you are planning to take some leave in June, we are told, Rose and Pierre and October for Louise and her Pierre. By the way, Pierre T. when are the exams? We wish you good luck in advance. As to Paul, it still is for April 19. And our granny what is she doing? and this dear "Jean Toy"... Rose, you know we still be thinking about you on April 11. You surely prefer to see the "Piece" as it is now than to have to sprit out, right? And Jeanette when is it due? Those who are coming back from leave say that life is increasingly difficult in France. Is it true? Prices are going up too? Good health to you all. Good kissies from ours to Paul and Suzie. Thousand for you from Tonron and Tara. "
