Original hand-written text on recto, "In order not to make you send twice the same views you will be very kind one day when you will have the time to send us a small list of all the sights of Madagascar that you have already received. For that you will only have to write the title of each postcard. We will in this way surely send you novelties each time. This palace is also called as in the olden days with silver strips. As for now all that is left is the eagle. It is close to the queen's palace."
