Scope and Contents

Original caption reads, "Tananarive - Threshers of Rice."
Original hand-written text on verso, "Tananarive 5/12/29 [December 12, 1929]. Dear Cousins, I do not wish to end the year without addressing you, in the name of the entire household, our best wishes for 1930. I hope the new year will keep you both in good health. Through Maman I quite often have your news. She must have told you that I have quite a lot of jobs, while the conveniences are missing. Finally our stay is getting shorter and God wishes we will be able to leave in 31 and offer you our wishes personally. In wishing you good health, receive dear cousins with friendship of Klebec affectionate caresses from both of us."
