Original caption reads, "Afrique Occidentale - Dahomey - Jeunes Féticheuses." Translated original caption reads, "Western Africa - Dahomey - Young medicine-women."
Original accompanying text on verso reads, "29 Avril 1911, Chère Anita, Un sergent va arriver ces jours-ci, cela va faire trois dans le poste. S'il y a moyen de rentrer à Mobaye par la suite je ne vais pas me le faire dire deux fois. Dans tous les cas je vais demander." Translated accompanying text on verso reads, "Dear Anita, a seargant will arrive soon. That will make three of us. I can not wait to go back to Mobaye. I will definitly send that request."
