Manuscript message and address on verso, message reads: "Coquilhatville, le 1/12/07. Je viens de passer l'Equateur pour la 2ieme fois. Tout va bien. Baisers à tous. Le coucou chante, je l'ai placé dans ma cabine, cela jette une note de gaité et je vous revois tous chaque demi-heure! Votre dévoué."
Translated message reads: "Coquilhatville, December 01, 1907. I just crossed the Equator for the second time. All is well. The cuckoo sings, I placed it my cabin. It strikes a cheerful note as I am reminded of you all again every half hour. Yours."
