Printed caption on verso reads: "L'Ivoire au Congo Belge." Translated postcard caption reads: "Ivory in the Belgian Congo."
Manuscript message and address on verso, message reads: "Gambari, le 19/3/29. Mon cher Henrotte, Je m'excuse de ne pas avoir envoyé le montant prêté, seulement à ce jour nous nous trouvons toujours dans la même situation et comme Charles attendons qu'Irumu veuille bien nous payer. Notre bon souvenir de nous deux, encore merci pour le charmant acceuil." Translated accompanying text on verso reads: "Gambari, 19/3/29. My dear Henrotte, I apologize for not having sent the amount loaned, but to this day we are still in the same situation and like Charles are waiting for Irumu to be willing to pay us. Greetings from both of us. Thank you again for the charming welcome."
Postmarked postage stamp on verso.
