Manuscript message and address on verso, message reads: "Ma chère Louise, j'ai été prise par mon service ces jours-ci et bien triste de manquer une visite. Je compte aller vous voir Lundi mais je retéléphonerai. Mille affectueuses pensées." Translated message reads: "My dear Louise, I was occupied by my duties over the last few days and very sorry to miss my visit. I am expecting to go see you next monday but will phone you. Affectionate thousand thoughts."
