Printed text on recto reads: "19. Tam-Tam au Kivu." Translated postcard caption reads, " Tam-Tam at Kivu."
Manuscript message and address on verso, message reads: "Chers grandpere oncle et tante, nous vous envoyons nos meilleurs baisers a tous, esperons que la sante est parfaite, ce que nous pouvons dire de nous. Dans 8 jours nous arrivons a destination nous vous ecrirons plus longuement. Vivement de vos nouvelles et recevez tous nos meilleurs baisers. Lieutenant Blecker route Lake Massisi Kivu Congo Belge via Dar es Salam." Translated message reads: "Dear grandfather, uncle and aunt, we send you our best kisses to all, hoping that your health is perfect, which is what we can say about ourselves. In 8 days we will arrive at our destination we will write you at greater length. Give us your good news and receive all our best kisses."
