Mille bons baisers. Irma. Translated message reads: " For the time I am stationed in the maternity ward, I have 4 small infants. I have seen a childbirth. Poor woman, what suffering. Thousand kisses, Irma. Dear Uncle and Aunt, We were quite sad to get your news. We still proceeded with the festivities since everything had been ordered. We did not have much fun. Josephine too was ill. Well it is all over now let us hope that on the next occasion all will be better. How are you Auntie? I hope that you have recovered as for me I feel so so, I am nevertheless attending to my job. Oh, what a nasty flu, it really gets you. I would like very much a short answer letting me know how you are."
